Donations to the Sweet Praline Medical Fund

Greetings on this Easy Sunday!

We want to help Praline's mom with the green papers for her surgery on Tuesday. The goal amount is $420. Because OUR mom can be completely useless at times, we weren't able to get a PayPal Donate button together HOWEVER the method we're asking people to use is almost as easy.

1. Log in to your PayPal.com account
2. Go to "Send Money" tab at the top
3. "To email address" should be pag4usc@sc.rr.com (this is Praline's mom's addy from her blog page)
4. Enter amount, click on "Personal" tab
5. Choose "Gift" and follow the rest of the prompts. The whole thing is faster than it takes to type all this. Especially with paws. MOL!

The green papers go directly to them. We know this is a tough time for so many, so if you can't send anything, please send healing purrayers and good thoughts. Those are just as important!

Sweet Praline

Meows to all on this fine Caturday!

Our Mom has asked us to post this request: Because Sweet Praline's surgery will cost a great many green papers, she'd like to donate some to help. She's hoping someone will start a donations page that she and others in the Kitteh Blogosphere can use for that.

Oh, and she says to say "thank you"!

Purrrayers Needed

Some of our favorite kittehs in the CB are having a rough time right now. Sweet Praline needs surgery... and adorable little Gracie from the Daily Gs household is having a terrible time with her special leg. We're asking everyone to visit them and offer support and healing purrs.

Woofy Wednesday

It was such a windy day the other day, I barely managed to stay on my feet. I've never been on an airplane, but I almost flew to North Carolina from Florida that day! - Cousin Max

Dear the Mom,

We really luffed the 'nip hamsters you bought for us from Cat Faeries. They are pawsome and lots and lots of fun. But, was it really necessary to harass us about where they went? Sure, they disappeared one at a time. Last one went poof maybe a week ago. You kept asking where they went and we just looked at you. Because, you know, we can't talk. And wouldn't tell you if we could.

We admit it was a LOT of fun watching you hunt for them. Almost as much fun as the 'nip high we got. But eventually you did find them - today. True, both of them were in the same place, under the dresser. And yeah, you did have to lay flat on the floor to see them and get them out. We really appreciated that, by the way. It was also very entertaining watching you do that.

Next time, we'll hide them in a brand new place! We're just thoughtful like that. No need to thank us.

The 'Ol Kickeroo

Looky! Mom got us a new toy: a Kong Kickeroo. It's a long tubey shaped thing, with 'nip inside, that we can chew on one end while bunnykicking the other. So far, we're both giving it two paws up!

And this weekend we will have nice, warm weather, so that means lots of Porch Time. Shaping up to be a good weekend, furriends! How is yours?

Woofy Wednesday

She *finally* remembered my rawhide bones were hidden in the Max-box that holds all my stuff - meds, extra collars, etc. So as soon as I got one I settled in for a long session of tearing it apart. When I got tired, I set the bone down under the table and took a nap on the rug. What does she do? Takes my bone away! Like I wasn't going to notice! Oh, no, we're not having that. So as soon as she sat down, I got up, walked over to her and quietly took my bone back and put it back under the table. 'Nuff said. - Cousin Max

We Killed It!!

Today the nasty big noisemaker (Mom calls this a "vacuum") was really annoying us. So Toby and I put our heads together and really focused on making it stop. Forever and ever.

And guess what??

It DID!! It stopped!!!! Mom is very impressed with our skills. She just wishes we could now conjure up the green papers to go buy a new one. (As if!)

We rule.

Leia and the Mom

Our Mom is very, very confused. After I went to the Stabby Place and that rude v-e-t suggested I needed to lose weight, Mom has been looking at me and muttering things like "Lose from WHERE? You don't hardly weigh anything NOW!" For the record, I'm a purrfect 9.2 lbs, and the v-e-t thinks I should lose a pound. Everyone in this house is completely baffled as to why.

Except Toby. He just wants to keep sleeping. Very little confuses him.

Woofy Wednesday

Okay, what just happened? I was going down the steps (there's 17 concrete steps from my door to the ground) when suddenly I was on the ground looking upwards. I have GREAT balance, but every once in a while, I just trip up and go rolling. My person rushed down and picked me up, though I wish she wouldn't. A tough pup like me can roll down a step or two and not even notice. Sheesh. - Cousin Max

Not So Easy Sunday

Sighs. You'd think that we, as kittehs, have an easy life. Naps in the best sunpuddles, Porch Time, down blankies. A gazillion pillows everywhere. No woofies to disturb us... pretty nice, huh?

Clearly, you've never been to OUR house! Actually, we are very hardwerking felines. Take Friday and Saturday - our Mom had something called "stomach bug". She was very, very sick and that means we had a lot of purring and taking care of to do. Now it's Sunday and she's better, but up and doing housewerk and laundry and stuff. So that means that we have to watch carefully as she folds linens and shirts and all that. If we don't watch, she might not do it right. And there's lots of other things she has to do today and we have to snoopervise that, too.

See how ruff our lives are?

Woofy Wednesday

I have to confess, I love it when my person lies in bed in the morning and lets the alarm go snooze. She scratches my belly and my ears and my back and I snuggle next to her and almost fall asleep. If she just didn't have to keep moving to get that dang snooze. She says she has to get up and go to work, but I think it's plenty enough work just keeping me scratched properly. Lol. - Cousin Max

Perking Up

Good morning, furriends! I see Mom snitched on me 'bout how I was feeling.. a bit rude, if you ask me. Telling a lady kitteh's private business like that! Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone who cared about my health. I'm a lot better, though still not 100%.

And guess what happened to help perk me up?? Mom bought us 'nip hamsters from Cat Faeries! Woo! There's some potent 'nip in those little guys, I can tell you. Toby was sniffing at the box before it even got opened. And they are MOST excellent for whapping. They are all round and soft and kinda big but don't weigh much, so they go fast across a hardwood floor. We both really luff them.

Toby kinda lost his for awhile though. Don't worry, he fished it out eventually.

Leia

From the Mom:

Leia isn't feeling very well after her vet visit on Saturday. She started limping a bit on the side that got the injections. She's not quite lethargic but definitely not running around with her usual energy. I don't think she had this kind of reaction after her last set of vaccinations.

Hopefully when I get home tonight she will be back to normal.
