Introoder Alert!

Furriends, I am so mad at Mom, you wouldn't believe. It's just not right, not at all.

This morning she went out for her own breakfast noms, and when she came back, I greeted her at the door. And smelled a TERRIBLE smell - a tomcat had left his scent! At MY doorstep! The rudeness of it. I stood in the doorway area and hissed, to show my mancatliness.

And do you know what Mom said? DO YOU??

"You better not add to the smell." As if I were some low down tomcat slinking around vandalizing others' property. I can't defend my territory? How unfair is that? He can leave his scent but *I* can't??

You've earned the Back of Disrespect, Mom.

Hmpf.

  1. Where's the justice in that ?!?! You should at least be allowed to cover it up with your own smell!

  5. Oh, that is SO rude - of both the Tom and your human! WELL, if you can't protect your territory, I hope your human protects it for you by figuring out how to keep that intruder away!

  6. Toby, I've got to admit that you've got a point! And tell your human thanks for the comments; I'm feeling better now and I'm still dedicated to helping any kitty I can, in my own small ways.

  7. Intruder?! We have a couple of those too! UNACCEPTABLE! You should be able to show that intruder whose territory that REALLY is!

  8. That is terrible, just terrible. We had a similar thing happen a long time ago when I was just a baby boy--some stoopy tom sprayed our front door and I wasn't allowed to do anything at all! And I even still had my hoohas then too!

  9. What?!?!? Doesn't she wanna get rid of that stink?? What better way than have you cover it with your stink??

  10. I agree with you, that was rude of your mom to warn you about leaving your scent in your own territory. Hopefully she can get some anti-cat-stink spray and clean wherever that intruder tom came by and grafittid with his stinky scent.

  11. Oh we know all about intruders! We had one this week too! The humans seem to encourage it! I despair sometimes! ;)

  13. Mom was afraid *I* might defend that way too, but she sprayed like 59 gallons of Pet0Ease calming spray to help me think of other things.
