Leia on Tuesday

Good morning, furriends!

We recently acquired a new toy.

It has fun jingly bell balls inside that go round and round.
I, being a brilliant ladycat - but still kitten-ish - learned instantly how to use it.

Toby still hasn't quite got the spin of it.

He says his paws are too big.  I think he needs to watch ME to see how it's done.

In other news...

When Mom started calling me Miss Purrito, I thought it was just more of her silliness.
I should have paid attention. She tried to make one! TWICE!!! On two separate days.

Well, I just put my tiny, delicate paw down firmly on that idea.

I won!

Mom's note:
Not really, Miss Purrito. Now you have to make three trips to the vet to get your ear meds.
That girl is an amazing fighter. Toby is much, much easier to medicate.

  4. Oh, our mom feels your mom's pain, Leia!

(And we had a toy similar to that for about 5 minutes--we were afraid of it.)

  5. Leia, you sound like Binga when it comes to getting restrained for meds (or claw trims!). If my human can't sneak a pill in Binga's food, she needs to get injections. She can't even imagine trying to give her ear meds!!

  7. Wow, that toy looks lots of fun! Glad you enjoy it, Leia :-) Though, too bad you have to go to the vet! Be a good purrito and take meds, Leia. It would be much easier than vet visit!

  8. Bless your Mom's heart. January 2015 madi had something going on with her tummy. The Vet gave us an RX for Predinsone to help with inflammation. Wadi was nearly 13 never had a pill in her entire life. That 11 lb cat was stronger than my 175 lb husband. He could not hold her. She was on the table for better leverage. She started spinning her back paws nearly took the tablecloth off the table and the daggers were out. I tried hiding that pill in EVERYthing. She ate around it. I took her back to the vet for 3 days to get pilled. The worst thing was the stress of poking something down her throat was not helping the tummy. So he gave her a time release pred shot. It worked wonders.
    Hugs Madi's mom
PS Madi mom is such a Drama queen and I do love your new toy
