We just heard over at Ginger Jasper's that our UK furriends,
Eric & Flynn, not only have their Mom back home after her surgery,
but that everything is now all ok with her!
Woo!!!! Wonderful, wonderful news.

Hoomins are Weird, Caturday Edition

Good morning, furriends! It's a beautiful day here so far, lovely breezes coming through the screens. We hope yours is too.

My Mom has this thing she does - she rates my yawns! Is that odd or what? She says I have a flip top head when I yawn, and she gets a big kick out of watching me. Mostly I do well - I get an 8 or 9 usually. Sometimes I do a little half yawn, that's about a 4, and occasionally I'll meow and it turns into a yawn. That gets higher marks cuz of the degree of difficulty, she says.

Yep, only thing to do when you live with such a person is just ...go nap. :)

Thursday THoE

There's nothing like a rousing game of THoE to work off some of that early morning energy! And it also wakes up the Mom, but she needed to get up anyways.

I'm about 95% improved. Mom moved all the facilities back to the kitchen area, too. Rats! It was nice having it all right there at my pawtips.

Here's a picture taken last night of me in my new cube. Just got it Sunday, but I wasn't able to appreciate it then. Now I can, and I luff it!

Leia Won't Come Out on Monday Either

Something is upsetting my girl, but I have no idea what. Toby is completely unconcerned; for him it's all business as usual. This all started Saturday night or early Sunday morning. She simply won't come out into the living room. She'll go as far as the first few inches of carpet, then stop and look around like it's really scary in there.

Problem is - she has to cross the living room carpet to get to all the kitteh facilities. I thought need would eventually drive her out, and I could see she was feeling the need - but she still wouldn't cross the carpet. So I gave in late yesterday and brought the facilities to her.

I wouldn't be as concerned if she was still adjusting to the new house. Everything was fine and then yesterday happened. I do see signs she's improving; she came to me repeatedly last night for attention, and she's trying to paw aside the curtains to see outside. I hope in a day or two we'll get past this.

Why, oh why, must our Mom make furriends with other four legged creatures wherever we live? Aren't we enough for her?? Really, Mom, this has to stop!

This is Vinnie. He lives next door. We're told he is very sweet and well behaved, but still!!!!

Well, as long as he doesn't come inside. We'll try to overlook this.

Good Caturday to all our furriends! We're basking in wonderful sunpuddles today... hopefully everykitteh is doing the same today.

We wanted to welcome Miss Athena the Torbie kitteh to the Cat Blogosphere. Her mom just started helping her post about her adventures recently. She's very sweet and we enjoy reading about what she's up to. Please go by and say hi to them.
