Really, Mom?

Look, we've all been here. Many, many, many UPTEEN times.

Our Moms, and occasionally Dads, are just absolutely addicted
to their precious lil Flashy Beasts. Which are at least QUIET
as opposed to the utterly horrifying Noisy Beasts.

So, instead of telling you MY feelings, which I think are rather clear,
why don't we play a game?

In the comments, leave YOUR own caption for this pic of me.
Or, the caption can be what your own reaction would be if faced with this...
preposterous imitation kitteh!

Goodbye, Miss Jenga

The CB has lost another good furriend, Miss Jenga.

We know she's at peace now, but
it is still hard to lose such a beautiful girl
from this world.

My Great Adventure

Furriends, I'm kind of in the doghouse right now.
And I'm a KITTEH!

Why? I got outside today.
On the porch, the free to the world porch.

We had the screen door to the porch open most of the day.
There's a small tear in the bottom corner - I investigated - and Mom saw me there.
As soon as I saw her looking at me, I bolted back inside.

The damage is done now, though. She knows my secret.
She strongly suspects I've been back and forth at least a couple of times....
I was playing with a leaf inside right before she saw me out.

And yes, she closed the glass door.
:(

Mom: We were very fortunate I saw her outside. What if I'd closed the door and went off?
And she's very, very quick and agile. If she'd chosen to take off,
I don't think I could have caught her.
It's kind of funny that she bolted right back inside, but mostly I'm still horrified.

It's Coming......

                           Can you feel it?

                   Can you smell it?

                                           Can you SEE it?

It's almost here...

Finally Friday!!!

Easy Like Sunday

We luff Sundays. It's very relaxing. Ok, well, we ALWAYS spend our days relaxing,
pretty much, but Sundays are especially nice. Here's what I'm doing:

PS: No matter how good the sleeping surface is, it's always,
always improved by Mom's clothes. Always!!!

And this is what Toby's doing today. It's like a tent in there, he does spend a lot of time here.

Enjoy your Sunday, furriends!

Leo Needs Help

We visited over at Miss Sparkle's this morning, and she was meowing about Leo, a beautiful orange kitteh. His foster parents have been taking pawsome care of his condition, but we all know how expensive Stabby Places can be. Please go by and read the details, and help if you can.

Mom says we can help with green papers on Friday, and we're purraying for him now.

**PS: We love all the kittehs, but ESPECIALLY the orange ones.

Thorin's bed - Fini!

Mom finished, finally, Thorin's bed. After three tries.

Now she can get back to giving us our proper attention.
Because she did so much of this work on the porch,
we weren't able to PROPERLY snoopervise her work.

THAT was frustrating, furriends.

**Pillows by way of Etsy. The seller special made these with plain muslin,
not lace. Can you see Thorin appreciating lace? Pink lace? I think not.

Obsessed!

Furriends, I tell you, Moms are just OBSESSED
about knowing where we are at all times.

This morning she went to leave and tried to find me. I wouldn't show myself.
Usually I do. But I didn't wanna this morning. Is that so wrong?

Finally she hunted me down, under the window table on the furry blankie.
Where I was quite happy to be alone and at peace.

Moms.

Lies, All Lies

They say pictures say a thousand words, but *I* say this is a thousand LIES.

I would never, ever be so snuggly with Leia. I mean, I don't mind her too much,
but to sleep like this? Cuddle her paws with my own?

The very idea! I don't know how the pawparrazzi did it,
but I suspect some kind of trickery, with that, what do
the hoomins call it, Paw-Toe-Shop.

MOL Thursday

That Top Shelf
I think I can jump to that top shelf
I want to jump to that top shelf
I know I can jump to that top shelf
I missed that top shelf by a good
      six feet
And now everything is on the floor
And I'm left wondering
Why people even bother
      buying china
If it breaks so easily
