Last night we had awful storms. Lots of rain, thunder boomies, sky flashes, and hail. (Mom had to 'splain what hail was.) Seemed to last forever! Anyway, if you heard that I was hiding in the Giant Litterbox Room, that was just plain wrong. Sure, I was in there but I was... I was... I was checking to make sure it was waterproof, that's it. So Mom wouldn't get rained on.
We've been taking care of our Mom this week. She's had a rough one - something about her car being all borked. "Timing belt broke... chain reaction of damage... bent engine valves.." We dunno what all that means, but she says it means a lot of green papers to fix, and having to ask for a lot of rides for a week or so from friends and co workers. So we've been doing a lot of purring and hanging out with her so she feels better. She says it helps her a lot.
In other news - we finally bought Miss Sparkle's book! It should arrive on Tuesday. We're all very excited.
Neither of us are of the exalted Meezer breed, but our Mom has always admired them, so she wanted to give a purr out to all the Ms of the world. Rock on!
(PS: Some of her fav Ms are Koko & YumYum, of the Cat Who books' fame).
Last night I treated everyone to a major Toy Tossing Exhibition. I used my fav nip squirrel - it went straight up! Y'all should have seen the air I caught with that puppy.
Then it was on to the nip hamster. No tossing this time, just a good ol' fashioned bunnykicking. It will never be the same, I swear.
And Mom says I had purrfect form, too. Kitten-tots, don't try this on your own yet. I'm a professional.
