A Point to Ponder

Happy Halloween!!

This morning our Mom was giving us scritches and pats. It was a nice thing so early in the morning, right before we started our early naps. And then - WAY before we were ready - she says she has to go take a shower so she can go off for the day.

She does this every.single.day. We complain but she just says she's not self-cleaning like we are, and it has to be done.

So we thought - doesn't this seem like a serious design flaw in hoomins? Ok, just one of many, it's true, but this is really annoying. And perplexing.

Maybe Ceiling Cat can fix this.

***** the above confused and irritated kitten tot is NOT one of our household. Merely a dramatic reenactment. Thank you.

  1. Actually, I'm not as concerned about humans' inability to clean themselves as I am their inability to follow kitty orders 24-7!

Thanks so much for the shout-out on my post! It's important to spread the word.

  2. Ugh! Our humans do that everyday, too! Serious design flaw, for sure...

    Happy MEOWloween!

  3. Ugh! Mica Minnie Moo even helps the mom keep clean, and what does she do? Complains it hurts when MMM washes a stubbornly dirty area. And then she washes all over again with water, as if THAT makes sense!

Happy Howl-O-Ween! We loved how you dressed up as a kitten!

  4. We have the opposite problem. We can't Jan out of the house so we can use the computer more often. Want to trade?

  5. Yep, I don't understand it either. I would think it's inconvenient, too!

    Happy Halloween to you all!

  6. Thank you so much for stopping by to see us today. We had so much fun dressing up and going to lots of pawties today. Hope you did the same. Hope you all got oodles of nommy treats. Happy Halloween! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Lisbeth, Astrid and Calista Jo

  7. Ditto Sparkle. :-)

Thanks for stopping by; our human is stressing about having to leave us locked in rooms with strangers in the house, while she goes to work for half-days. (Not enough vacation days left to stay home for the duration! Yes, she does have BIG RED BOLD signs for the doors!)

The header was one Ann had done back in fall 2011. :-)

  8. Yup, Humans are weird. Why would they want to stand under all that running water anyway?
