However, *I* want you to know that moms are TOTAL fussbudgets. I was fine, really. Ok, a little wobbly, and there was that heavy panting thing, but honestly I was gonna get up and walk it off ANY minute there.
Anyways, would you look at what they DID TO ME??
They.. they... DENUDED me! Both legs! Do you KNOW how long it's going to take for all my handsome orange furs to grow back? !
Meow about over reaction. Honestly.
I am glad you are okay and not suffering any more ill effects from being shut in the attic, Toby. When my vet steals my blood he shaves my throat. That's okay in the summer when it is hot, but in the winter I need to wear a scarf!
ReplyDeleteAt least they did both so it looks like you are making a fashion statement. I am glad you are OK.
ReplyDeleteThat's great news about you bringing your toy to your mom! Was it like at 4 o'clock in the morning or something? My mom would love that.
ReplyDeleteHey, you look awesome with your shave-spots. Know why? It shows you're a SURVIVOR! Look closely next time you're on our blog at Cam's front right leg. She's got a shave-spot, too, and a cool scar. We love it because a month or so ago Mom found a bump on her and it was one our vet said needed to come out -- and it turned out to be something that was called BENIGN. So the scar is a thing of utter beauty to us. That's how you should look at your shave-spots!
Besides, girl-cats will think you look rugged and manly!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Toby the least they could have done was put a Manly tiger strip bandage on it. (I saw one on a vet show recently very manly)
ReplyDeleteYour mom's nerves were calmed by that sweet little delivery you made.
Hugs madi your bfff
Whoa, those bare spots are not a good look on you, Toby! I'm glad you're feeling better, though!
ReplyDeleteSending big healing purrs your way Toby. That was such a nice thing for you to do for your Mom, we bet that touched her a lot.
ReplyDeleteOh we are so glad you are all right now. We know that was so scary for your Mom. Those shaved legs don't look bad at all and that hair will be back before you know it.
ReplyDeleteToby, you look smashingly handsome; no one even notices your bare parts! That whole bringing-the-toy routine is bound to snag some extra treats, for sure! Way to go, Tobes!
ReplyDeleteOh, Toby, I just read about what happened, and I am so glad you're OK! I think the shaved spots give you a unique look. Tell Leia it's all the style now. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry to hear you were feeling poorly. The denuding does not take away from your handsomeness.
ReplyDeleteToby, we bet your mom really loved that you brought that toy to her! And don't worry about your poodle legs. They'll be filled out in no time!
ReplyDeleteHoly cod, Toby! Look at those legs. Y'know, they did the same thing to me when I had my teefs cleaned. My legs were nekkid forever it seemed! But we're glad you're okay...nekkid legs and all. :) ~Wally
ReplyDeleteToby, sometimes the Beins have to do things we dont like. But it is almost always fer the best. We have had shaved legs and bellies before and felt better afterwards!
ReplyDeleteWe're sorry you had to get shaved nekkid like that. Your mom owes you a new toy, or treats, or something!
ReplyDeleteHoney, I am so sorry that you were feeling poorly. I am sorry too about the nekkid leagues BUT it's for a good reason sweet Toby. I can come and bathe you and keep your ears clean of that's OK?
ReplyDeleteAnd please...show momma you love her again and again by bringing your toy in for her to enjoy with you. Mom's just LOVE that! XXOO
ReplyDeleteOMC! Did you demand your gorgeous furs back? 'Cause we would have! And then you could have auctioned every last one of those furs off and we would have bid many mousies on them.
ReplyDeleteToby, I'm sorry they stole your fur! You look like...wearing boots and I find it very cute :-) It's gonna grow back eventually, so don't worry, sweetheart! It's really nice you brought toy to your mom. You must have felt very grateful to her for saving you xoxo
ReplyDeleteWoh, that was a reaction wasn't it! Not saying it was an over-reaction because you just never know what is hiding behind them furs ;)
ReplyDeletei hope your furs grow back quickly and your mom gets over feeling like she over reacted.
