Mancat Monday - 2 vs 2

It's Monday  - time for ME!

So, 2 vs. 2.

2 dislikes I have:

1). Tin foil! Horrible thing, that noise it makes.
Why hoomins would ever use such a thing is beyond me.

2). Mom's Ace bandage. Last summer she tore her calf muscle, and ever since she uses this to wrap up her leg when she exercises. (She wants you to know that this is amazingly useful, if you ever have need of one, it is truly extremely helpful). But when she puts it on or takes it off, it's very upsetting to me. I refuse to hang around for this. It's just seriously freaky to me.

Now for the 2 loves I have:

1). My nip hamster, bought many years ago. We got it from Cat Faeries online shop. We're soul mates, that hamster and I. I like other toys just fine, but hamster and I are FOREVER.

2). My mom's hair. When I was a tiny, tiny tot I would sleep in her hair, curled up by her neck. Now I'm way too big for that but my head fits there just fine. We sit at the dining room table for snorgle time, and I demand mom take her hair out of the ponytail (I paw at her head. Every time.) so I can get my hair fix. This makes me very, very happy. Even more so than my hamster-time.

So there you are, some facts about ME, Toby.

Happy week, furriends.

  1. Toby, just think about the things you love..and the things you don’t won’t matter. We think it’s interesting you love your mom’s hair.

  2. Tony...I LOVE my Ratty...more than anything!!! And I do try to comb my Mom's hair with my claws. But I like her hair a little shorter than it is right now. So I've been chewing it!
I am glad to know I am not the only one!

  6. I can understand you don't like tin foil, Toby! It does make an horrible noise!
Imagining you pawing at your mom's head made me smile :-)

  7. Yo, Toby, Pierrot here. I like your mancat pose. I'm with you on tin foil. It's a cruel invention and I hate it. I didn't know about ace bandages, but I'll be sure to keep a look-out now that I know they're awful too.

The lady has short hair. Your hair ritual with your mom sounds nice. I also think your hamster sounds fun.

  8. A nip hamster? Wow. I, Seville the Cat, connoisseur of the nip, have never even HEARD of such a thing. WOW. Nip mice and nip hearts are two of my favourite things. I bet a nip HAMSTER might even be better! purrs

  12. Maybe someone in a previous life teased you with foil and ace bandages, Toby? One of our mom's original cats was terrified of paper bags because of some stupid human's idea of a joke. Can you imagine never knowing the joys of a paper bag? Anyway, we love your hair story!

  13. You are such a sweetie. My Sammy used to sleep on my pillow and make muffins in my hair, but he stopped doing it a few months ago :(

  15. Awww! The thought of you in your Mom's hair gets me right in the feels! Kitty used to comb my hair with her claws and chew on it. It was the oddest thing ... and those claws hurt my delicate scalp - but I miss it :(

  16. Eric had a thing about my hair when I washed it. He would try to lick it dry and he would chew on it too. Sometimes he got a bit carried away and tried to chew my head.

  17. I love my mom's hair too! WE need to form a secret coalition! I get MY head up into mom's neck too and she feels my bref on her neck! She also gets to hear my snuffles and delicate feminine snoring very well too.
