It's Almost Here...

In the last week or so, Mom has noticed that I've been getting up on the couch, with the warm blankie Auntie Mary gave us for Chrissymouse last year. Normally I'm on the back of the couch, if I get up there.

Our temps are just barely below the summer temps right now, but you can see it and feel it anyway. Shadows are falling differently; sunset sets earlier; the sky is a deeper blue.

Fall officially starts on Sept. 23. But we kittehs do not need a calendar to know, do we?

So what is the bestest thing for any feline to do ??

Our purrayers and thoughts are with our furriends, and everyone,
in the path of the big storm out there. Especially Miss Madi.

  1. Toby would Auntie Mary like to adopt me that is one fine blanket and OMCs I would blend right in with it too. The flashy beast would never find me if I was all tucked into a ball
    Hugs Madi your bfff

  3. Toby, the sun gets up later and goes down earlier...but I refuse to believe it's autumn until the calendar officially says so! Stubborn...

  9. We can't wait to have fall season here and we can pulled out the blankets. Usually when I come home and put my winter jacket on the bed. Those little kitties of ours love to ball themselves up in them. Thanks for sharing the comfy looking photos. Have a wonderful day.

  11. Toby, we can feel a change in the weather too...and we’re not talking about the temperatures. Snuggle weather will soon be here.

  13. It's getting to that time of the year when I return to dad's lap in the early mornings vs. sprawling out on the floor next to his chair. And please- don't mention "Chrissymouse" just yet!

  14. Thanks you sweetheart. MY other favorite brother s in the path of the hurricane. We are praying and purring for the best.

We CAN tell. I was meowing to a kitty friend that I am starting to go to the sifter warmer places now even though the a/c is on. The hard smooth surfaces aren't attractive as much and I MAY start in November getting into my softest most comfy padded beddie.

  15. We agree! When happy ... sad ... lonely ... tired ... rejuvenated, etc naps are the best bet.
