Confessions of a Housekitteh

Well. Our Mom has been feeding us Innova Evo, dry and wet. Sadly, the only wet flavor we like, Vishus Deer, does rather bad things to me on the way out. Leia doesn't have that problem, but I do. So we've just been on dry kibble.

And... we're losing weight!!! Not that Leia really needs to, but Mom says I'm a little too much mancat. Hey, I am only 17.4 lbs. Or I was. Dunno what I am now, but I'm getting a lot sleeker, I'm told. But now I'm worried - where will it STOP?? I eat just fine, but it's like I'm losing more than I take in - how will the foods know when to quit taking bits of me away?? Will it take my furs.... will it steal my tail??

Anxious kittehs wanna know!

We want to give a shout out to Melvin. He and his Mom are having a bit of a rough time, and they need some virtual hugs. Also, his Mom is a really talented artist and is selling sketches of kittehs. They are the AWESOME! http://mouchois.blogspot.com/

PS. Vote Misha!! He should totally be the next Top Model! http://www.topcatmodel.co.nz/finalist_misha.html

  1. We three are all a bit "extra fluffy", too. Unfortunately, the prescription foods that Gandalf has to have tends to put weight on cats. So we get less treats, but more scritches. It's a delicate balance, isn't it?

  2. We are all over the map....my momma and I are tiny girls who zoom around a lot so we need to eat. Then there is Ginger and Nigel who are double our size (and shouldn't be!).

  4. A few of us could stand to loose a few too! EVO is very good foods, we used to eat the chicken canned foods.

  5. Mum has been trying to get me to lose weight too but it doesn't seem to be working. I have food for sensitive tummies and now I don't yak I don't lose weight even though I don't get as much to eat.

  6. I think a wee bit of "fluff" is a good thing..all those bits and pieces inside us need cushioning-and a little extra just in case.

  7. I eat like a horse. My human bean says that I run it all off. :)

Thanks for visiting my blog! Come again.

  9. Actually, I think 17.4 is quite svelte. My Mom says I look like a balloon on legs and I won't tell how much I weigh!
