Our Mom sat down with us last night and had a long meow-versation. It wasn't good news. We have to move soon. She said that while she luffs our house (and so do we, especially the Porch) she just can't keep up with the repairs and maintenance it needs. It's an old house and most everything needs replacing. She said it's very emotionally draining, and we just don't have the green papers to continue being homeowners.
So... it's going on the market mid-January. We're not looking forward to having noisy strangers in here, and especially not having to go live somewhere else, but Mom says there's no choice.
Moving is no fun, but change always brings a new outlook. We'll be purring for you on this new adventure.ReplyDelete
Ugh. The M-Word. It kinda bites...but getting anew place can be fun because there's stuff to explore. You just have to get through the sucky part...ReplyDelete
Bright side: It like Max said " getting a new place can be fun because there's stuff to explore." it's just take time to get used to and then all of you will be fine.ReplyDelete
My mom and my dad did move a lots in the old day. First when my mom moved here, she didn't sure she will love this place but now she does. And the best thing to live here..She met me : )
Me and my mom hope you find a good place so soon and I wish you can enjoy the new home
So sorry that you must lose your current house, but hopefully, the new place will be a great adventure.ReplyDelete
We are sorry you have to move, but when you get to your new place you will have lots of exciting places to explore.ReplyDelete
That's too bad. My mom totally empathizes. But for you guys, it will be a fun adventure!ReplyDelete
We're sorry to hear this. But maybe you can look at this in a more positive way...getting a new home can be fun and you'll have lots of new places to explore and things to do!!ReplyDelete
Perhaps you'll have more time on your hands for the finer things in life like naps and window watching...ReplyDelete
That's too bad you guys have to move... I hope you find a new place you will like!ReplyDelete
Well hopefully it will make your Mom less stressed and that is always an improvement. Purrs and Mom Hugs.ReplyDelete
I'm so sorry your mummy had to make this decision, and we really hope she's able to sell it quickly and find you a wonderful new place!ReplyDelete
Oh noes. But at least you'll have lots of new smells and places to explore.ReplyDelete
And thanks for coming to my birthday!
I'm sorry you're going to have to find a new place! But it'll be fun to explore your new house once you get one!ReplyDelete
We are sorry you don't want to move but you must believe that everything happens for a reason and that sometimes we are forced to make changes (for the better) even when it seems it is the last thing that we want.ReplyDelete
Think positive, make the best of it, it will all work out! xoxo
Moving is not a lot of fun. Peoples coming through is awful. Mommy always putted us in the porch and in the winter it is cold!ReplyDelete
Mes done it 7 times! Asks for a bird feeder, then yous will have something distracting ... wait there's a Jay now....
We moved last February and we did not like it at all... at first. But now we love the Swamp! We hope you will all find a wonderful new home you can all enjoy.ReplyDelete
