Mancat Monday

Furriends, I'm truly a generous mancat. I bet most of you didn't know that about me.

Today, for example, I kindly allowed mom to share the bed with me. She wanted to lay down and nap too.

Well that's what she SAID.

Turns out she just couldn't stay still. What a wiggle worm! And she kept talking while I was trying to sleep. And of course there was the touching. Couldn't keep her fingers to herself, just kept wanting to snorgle my warm, sleepy orange furs.

Finally I was forced to move away.
And I had my nap spot arranged just purrrfectly too.

Moms! Honestly.

  2. Humans seem to feel better when they are touching you. I think it makes them feel safe and warm. Rather like children snuggling to a parent.

  3. Humans! Don't they know nap means NAP? Not talking, not touching or any of that stuff.

  4. They DO that! That touching, snorkeling, ruffling furs, smooches, petting...how are we supposed to sleep with all THAT going on!?

  8. Our moms sound remarkably alike!
It was indeed very generous for you to share your space with your mom. Too bad she crossed that line!

  9. My Momma does that to me ALL THE TIME! Talking, touching, moving ... like they think nap time is a social event! I don't blame you for moving. ~Bear Cat

  13. Oh, Toby, us Moms just can't help wanting to snuggle and scratch our kitties when we're near you. Just can't help it! But I'm sure your Mom appreciates your generosity in spending a little time with her.
