Monday is here, and I'm very busy.
Among other things, I'm reading a pretty good book, part of The Cat Who series.
Among other things, I'm reading a pretty good book, part of The Cat Who series.
I'm also having some guy time with my pals, Cornelius and Lion.
Sometimes, it's just a bit too much female-ness around here.
I'm glad they survived The Move ok.
Not sure how I really feel about Lion though...
Toby, "The Cat Who..." books are some of my favorites! Lillian Jackson Braun worked at both The Detroit Free Press and Detroit News before becoming a full-time writer, and those are my home-town newspapers! In her first book, she created a character named George Mountclemens, and Mount Clemens is the city that I live in! I think that's cool.
ReplyDeleteWe always thought he was the most interesting hoomin character.
DeleteWe're glad you're getting some "Bro" time in, Toby! You three make a handsome trio :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes you can't choose your friends! Especially when they move along with you!
ReplyDeleteI've had mixed luck with The Cat Who series, but am loving the many cat-themed cat cozy mysteries! The Black Cat Bookshop series is my current favorite.
ReplyDeleteThe early Cat Who books were the best. We also have the Black Cat mysteries. Hamlet is a force to be reckoned with.

ReplyDeleteHey Toby! Cool-looking friends you've got there! That book looks interesting. I've heard of cat burglars before, but not cat bank robbers!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,

Lion looks like he is invading your space.
ReplyDeleteThe mom has read all those books, too, Toby. We're not sure about Lion either. You better keep your eye on him.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a terrific book!
ReplyDeleteAnd mes would bes more concerned about the Alligator than the lion!

It's that unblinking stare that freaks me out a little. Honestly, maybe he'd be happier back on the veldt.
ReplyDeleteHaha, but the Lion looks pretty friendly :-) I think he wants to play with you, Toby!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy manly time :-)
Oh Toby I think my dad feels the same as you about the female-ness here. OMCs mom loves those books too and....because I'm a friend I feel I must tell you I can tell by the look in the lions eyes he has a man crush on you. MOLMOL
ReplyDeleteHugs madi your bfff
Toby, you're not going to get any ideas from that book, are you? Like how to rob a bank? :-)
ReplyDeleteWe bet your teeth are bigger than Lion's, Toby!
ReplyDeletethat sounds like a really good day even if it is a Monday
