Today I got my nails trimmed, against my express wishes. Mom tried to tell me that
ALL the best people get their nails done by someone else,
but I can't help feeling darkly suspicious of this statement.

Mom is always on the look out for the next embarrassing picture.
As per this one. And then she threatens the Snorgle Tummy Monster Fingers.
And since we have had enough attention from mom for one day,
we're graciously allowing her to post this picture from the Petsmart
parking lot this morning. She said there were actually
6 woofies in that truck.
She wasn't the only one to snap a picture of this!
OMC! That's a whole lotta dogs!!
ReplyDeleteAww little one, it's so important to get your nails trimmed! And look at all those woofies!! I've never seen so many in a car!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about that nail trimming, Leia. It sounds horrible! And Toby, moms have some nerve, don't they?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that is a whole truckload of dogs. Literally!
Leia, I love getting pawdicures! Which is a good thing because I get them before every cat show and therapy cat visit.
ReplyDeleteWe won't let your Mom trim our claws! Even the vet has to call in reinforcements. It's right to be highly suspicious.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of woofies.
Purrs,
Winston and Emily
I never trimmed Flynn's nails until he became ill and didn't wear them down naturally. I expected a fight the first time, but he was so good and just sat there and let me do it. That is a lot of dogs in that pickup!
ReplyDeleteYou know Leia, my mom even has a manicurist come to the HOUSE to trim my nails-and that does not take away from the face that I too have most expressly told her NOT to do that! I make the rules and this one is consistently broken. I may have to employ a fang!!!
ReplyDeleteThose woofies are impressive!!! I meant to tell you.
ReplyDeleteHahaha, snorgle tummy monster fingers! I can't say I'm not familiar with them :-) Your tummy is so gorgeous, Toby!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of big woofies on truck :-)
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Toby and Leia....mom has a box....marked "Madi's Box" I call it her torture box. That is where the implements of cutting are kept.
ReplyDeleteOMCs OMDs a truck full of Bloodhounds. They are so adorable posing like professionals. Mom used to work with a lady whose hubby trained Bloodhounds for law enforcement.
They are so sweet and goofy
Hugs madi your bfff
guyz....knot ta take a way frum YUR post but we iz CRACKIN UP at thoz dawgs ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
ReplyDeleteLove the tummy! I wish I could see that truck full of bloodhounds!
ReplyDeleteLeia, have your mom define "best." I'm suspicious too. Toby, why do moms love to embarrass us??
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that truck full of bloodhounds is so funny! Great capture!
That is a lot of dogs! I am sure your nails look very stylish now. And I would snorgle that tummy too :)
ReplyDeletewhile the dog picture is cute (and awww- bloodhounds), mom cringes everytime she sees dogs in the back of a truck....disaster waiting to happen
ReplyDeleteAwww. I'm sure your Mom isn't taking pictures to embarrass you. No. We Moms take pictures of our furbabies because you're so cute/handsome/etc. We have regular claw clippings here too and the natives are always highly agitated and disgruntled afterward.
ReplyDeleteOur mom would want to snorgle your tummy, too, Toby!
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a truckload of pups! I hope they didn't really travel like that - it's not safe. :(
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
PS: I got some chick-hen for my birthday yesterday!!!!
TBT says he is gonna bring one of us ta the Petco Groomer ta see how well that goes. Since we have no idea who or when that will be, we are all kinna playing musical chairs in reverse in daytime...
