Endings and Beginnings

By end of August, I will be leaving my duplex. I don't yet know where I'm going;
so far I've only been able to find a short term temp assignment. If nothing else presents itself,
I will be living with a sister for a time. I don't mind that, it's just that she lives the next county over.

I couldn't stay even if I hadn't had my job stolen from me. I knew this place was being sold;
turns out the new owners will live in my unit and continue renting the other. My feelings about all this are mixed; this is the last place I lived with my cats. But also, perhaps that's a good thing,
to leave that behind. As you see, it's very emotionally complex.

I just wish that what was happening was my choice.

  11. I just sent you an email asking about things. I should have checked here first. I'm so sorry for the continued upheaval you are facing. I sure have you on my mind and in my prayers that things turn around...maybe in the end this move...to another county might be what you need.
    Many hugs Cecilia

  13. We cant help much. But we can say a few things...

    Be you. The world will adjust.

    Focus on the present. The past is gone and the future has not happened.

    In the future, you will not look on this time and laugh. But you will have survived and that is impawtant.

    Our thoughts and purrs to you...

  14. I know this is a bit off topic, but I just read your post about finding the whiskers & the temporary place you have them. There is a shop on etsy.com that makes jewelry (tributes) out of naturally shed whiskers (not my shop...wish I had thought of it!) It's volanakote. There are probably others as well...just a thought

  16. We love you. I'm sorry that I've neglected our friendship - but it means so much to me. I've been coming up short in just about every facet of my life recently. But that's nothing to everything you've been through this past year. I don't even know where to start with that. It's gone from bad to worse and you haven't deserved any little bit of it. I'll always listen if you want to talk. And if you ever decide to move to St Louis, MO, I have a second bedroom for you. I mean that.
