Our Mom's Chrissymouse Presents (to herself. Cuz Why Not?)

Today we'd like to show you what our Mom got recently. She's quite proud of both of them!
We helped by being the Lovely Assistants, modeling them.

First up:

This bit of artwork was created by the very talented and handsome Quint of Colehaus Cats. It's a limited edition paw painting based on Starry Night. It came with a tiny easel. If your 'rent is looking for an original creation, we highly recommend visiting his shop.


And now:

Ok, this wasn't cat-created, but it was hand made by the husband of Max the Psychokitty's mom. (And just for the record, Toby objects to being the "Lovely" Assistant. He insists on being known as the Completely Handsome & Noble Mancat Putting Up with More of Mom's Silliness Graciously.)

He also has other stuff in his Etsy shop. Totally worth a look.

Mom saw this at work and 

knew it would be just purrfect for me,

so she brought it home.

I made it mine very quickly. It's an excellent fit, don't you think? 

There is padding in it, too, so it's quite comfy.

Open Letter

Dear Mr Heating Fix It Guy,

Thank you for fixing our thermostat. Now it runs the proper amount of time, not too much and not too little. And now all our thermometers agree with each other, instead of a ten degree difference. Our Mom is very happy that our electric bills will be under control now.

More green papers for us is good, since that means more good stuff for all of us here. We even forgive you for driving us UTB.

However, we do have a MOST SERIOUS issue with you: you brought those vile, nasty, why-do-they-even-exist??!-fleas into our formerly flea free home.

Now we itch and must endure that cold wet stuff on our necks. Mom is doing a lot of grumbling over this too, so not only do we itch and have to endure that cold wet stuff on our necks, we have to put up with her crankiness.

And also now begins a 21 day cycle of Noisy Beast visits. Every.single.day that thing will come out.

These are most difficult to forgive.

Not a Mancat Monday

Nope, it's me, Leia!

Mom is always amazed at how small I can make myself when I want to.

She gets a little gushy over it. It can get embarrassing.

Yes, our Mom is just a wee bit excited over this.

She has taken the day off to see it, which will be

only slightly delayed by the unexpected car repair that

has to happen this morning first. Why that couldn't take place during

one of our scheduled Stabby Place visits, we have no idea.

The Verdict Is In!

After careful, prolonged testing and multiple kitteh-to-kitteh conferences, we have declared the new couch a KEEPER!

Unfortunately for Mom, it's rarely available for interspecies use at the same time. But she does have an office chair to sit in. It's not like we make her sit on the floor.
