Oh, we had some excitement yesterday!
We were all hanging out on the couch, just snuggling and stuff.
The usual Sunday.
And THEN - there was a thump on the window glass!
It was a LIZARD!
We hurtled to the window to see
(except Mom. For some reason she didn't get all excited).
We did our best to get that tasty thing, but it didn't happen.
However, I assure you, I kept watch for quite some time.
And now Leia wants a meow.
Happy 1st Gotcha Day, Brody, my sweet fluffy-kins.
You have come such a long way.
- Leia.
A leezard?!? We don't have any of those around here.
ReplyDeleteOMC, how cool is that? I wish a lizard would do that here... but they don't do windows in California.
ReplyDeleteWe only get very tiny lizards here in the UK so my cat is jealous that you have ones big enough to thump on the window!
ReplyDeleteYOU HAVE LIZARDS IN FL? OK THAT DOES IT I'M PACKING MY BAGS LEAVE A LIGHT ON FOR ME.
ReplyDeleteHUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
AND HAPPY GOTCHA DAY TO YOUR GUY
Whoa, we never get that kind of excitement here!
ReplyDeleteThat lizard had no idea how close it was to finding the Big Lizard Happy Hunting Grounds in the Sky!
ReplyDeleteYou look pretty fierce in that last shot, Toby. I bet that lizard won't come back! Leia looks like she's waiting for Brody to come by :)
ReplyDeleteOooh lizard. How exciting! Too bad it was on the other side of the window!
ReplyDeleteHappy gotcha day to Brody!
Me love to catch da lizards too! If you need a paw, please Mew out loud ! Me will be there!
ReplyDeleteSo that is what is meant by the term "leapin lizards" :)
ReplyDeleteBrody thanks you sweet Leia. XO
Oh my, you two are so lucky! We haven't seen a lizard in ages.
ReplyDeletei think that is one of the reasons Amarula is angry that I brought her back with me from Africa!! She used to dine on lizard all the time!! (actually most of them were geckos and she only ever caught their tails!)
ReplyDeleteThat was very exciting! It's a pity you couldn't invite Mr Lizard in to join you for lunch.
ReplyDeleteI loved what Flynn said!!!
ReplyDeleteLizards near Toby and Leia's watchful gaze are always at risk.
ReplyDeleteOh, how EXCITING!!!! I've seen some out in our garden in the Summer, but I've never seen one come up to the window or anything!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
A lizard is an exciting sight for Connor, too. He alerts us when he sees one. I am afraid of them. I'm glad the cats are inside and the lizards are outside.
