The Case of the Airplane Ears

Dear furriends,

Last night mom saw my ear innards were looking a little... well... grungy. I tried to tell her I was cool with it and to leave them alone, ok?

Yeah. You already know how that story turned out.

After, I had the WORST case of airplane ears! So I got on the bed to recover, after a good head shake. Mom asked if I wanted to snuggle. I was torn.... I mean, she did this to me, but she's also the one who makes me feel better. So after I changed my mind a couple of times, we did settle down for some quality time.

Still. All is NOT forgiven!

PS: baby orange Graham from Tails from the Foster Kittens is having difficulty right now. Please visit... kitty blog.net.

  2. Toby, of course your mom had to tend to your ears. The lady would have done the same regardless of my input. It's good not all is forgiven. Milk it!

  3. Thanks for the share. You gotta make sure your ears are nice and clean. So you can hear when she opens the treat bag and you can come running in for some. Now time for some cuddle time with her. Love the photo you shared. Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. You may not have liked having your ears cleaned, Toby, but you wouldn't want to be growing potatoes in them, would you.

  8. Toby, believe it or not, our old bro Eddie used to LOVE to get his ears cleaned! In fact, he would go running to Mom when she got out the Q-tips! Us, NEVER.

  9. Boodie's ears are totally grungy right now... but that is because she is getting meds "transdermally," and I think her ears are rebelling.

  11. Sometimes moms have to do things you don't like, but only to keep you healthy. XO

  12. I can relate. I'd not be a fan of having my ears poked and prodded either. Sometimes even when I'm mad at mom for something I can't help myself and still need her lap and her loves.

  16. Oh, how we hate our Mom to clean our ears! But we love our Mom. Call us torn, too!

  17. It is hard to hold a grudge when the scritching and cuddling begin, but we have to at least TRY. Maybe a little hiss or six would not be amiss, however.

  18. Amarula totally gets what you are going through!! Her ears always need cleaning! Why is it that some cats just have dirty ears!!??

  19. We depend on TBT to check our ears, check us all over for ticks (we never have fleas), and crusty butt. Yeah, THATS embarrassing but sometimes a small bit just WONT come off regardless of licking and it is annoying.

  20. Yeah, it's hard for me to trust after something like that. I hate having my ears messed with!
