Yeaaa!!! It's that day that makes most hoomins very happy, especially our own. Enjoy it, furriends!
I, Leia, am pleased to announce a private showing of some of my finest art - the Chewed Paper.
The special corners edition, you understand. Can't find this just anywhere.

Mom says she sees impressionistic style; *I* say she is an ignorant peasant
because as the artiste here, I was going for abstract.
Hoomins. No culture at all.
Nice work!
ReplyDeleteHumans, I've found, really don't understand the artistic flow of the feline mind. Or the results thereof.
ReplyDeleteThe artiste always knows their own style. My housekeeper knows no art.....or kevin, or stan, hehe Fr. Tom x
ReplyDeleteI know talent when I see it. You should see what Smellie comes up with - total hack! But the tiny tabby has it going on! ~Bear Cat
ReplyDeleteYour art is very inspired, Leia.
ReplyDeleteYou are a regular PiCATso, Leia!
ReplyDeleteOh I think you have shown the most expert technique. ANYKITTY can see that!
ReplyDeleteWow, your mom was way off. Why humans think they can interpret art, let alone feline art, is beyond me.
ReplyDeleteI see Toby's cute orange bottom!
Excellent work. My Prancie likes to shred paper too. :)
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is pawsome, Leia! I say keep creating your artworks - and maybe some day, your mom will realize the significance of your talent :-)
ReplyDeleteIn either case you've certainly put your own stamp on this. Those are quite some chewed corners!
ReplyDeleteLeia quick put that art in the post to me. We have a Contemporary Art Museum here. I know they would love to display it.
ReplyDeleteHugs Cecilia
That. Is. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We think that's museum quality, Leia!
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to thank you all for your kind words about Caroline. We are very thankful for our friends at times like these.
That's some really high-end chewing. Perhaps you should consider an auction? My Human says that retirement has turned Fridays into days just like any other, which is kind of disappointing. BUT, she says that it has turned Sunday evenings into perfectly happy times, so it all kind of balances out.
ReplyDeleteThe teeth marks are very refined.
ReplyDeleteOf COURSE it's abstract, Leia. You, as the artiste, would know!
ReplyDeletePawsome abstract art ! You're a great artist, Leia ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteWe hope everything is okay. Just wanted to let you know we're thinking about you <3
ReplyDeleteExpert chewing takes time to learn. Concatulations!
ReplyDeleteSo nice of you to share your heaty mat with Mark's Mews!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the special Corners edition. More and more often, I meow! Well done! And Marks Mews is right. Expert chewing takes time to perfect.
