Sarah slept on my bed the last two nights.
It's toasty warm with my electric blanket.
And she's smart.
Once she realized it was warm, it was an easy sell. Last night she got on the bed without coaxing.
Also, it's free of other fur people.
She has strong personal boundaries and prefers to not have other cats around. Tombo is acceptable, apparently,
due to his canine origins.
Happy Friday. Stay warm.
That's one way to make a friend! Maybe it would work with my Angel, who still runs from me after living here for 15 years...
ReplyDeleteShe knows a good spot when she sees it.
ReplyDeleteSarah is a smart cat...and maybe she’ll provide you some warmth too.
ReplyDeleteOh, there's nothing like a toasty warm blanket when it's cool. She looks quite happy! Us, we're in love with our mom's electric throw, so we get it.
ReplyDeleteSarah is no dummy!
ReplyDeleteTBT keeps the house 72F day and 68F night. That isn't bad. At night, we all gather on the heaty waterbed (some on the blankies, some unner).
ReplyDeleteAhhhh Sarah is the purrfect sleeping kitty. I'm so glad you have kitties in your life. I heard you had 50's over the last few nights. Brrr indeed.

Nothing like having a warm spot to nap!
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. The best way to keep warm :) XO
ReplyDeleteSorry the house is chilly, but we love that Sarah has decided to share the warmth. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww so nice Sarah is enjoying warm blanket with you! She looks so comfy and happy :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting her sleep with you. She will be snuggling under before you know it.
ReplyDeleteMommy said she'd take Sarah over night to snuggle iffn she wants to come over...
ReplyDeleteWe love reading about your new roommates!
ReplyDeleteShe knows where she is going to be spending the rest of this winter every night. Thanks for sharing the cute photo. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

Yes, very cute and very smart kitty! Although my home is usually kept pretty warm overall, I do enjoy the added warmth of a space heater on particularly cold nights... and so does my kitty Asami :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't mind if it's cold as long as we have warm blankets to snuggle on top of.
