Finally Friday

Yesterday was Women's Day. Can you believe Mom forgot to post about me?? So I insisted we do it today. 

Yes, as some of you have suspected, I DO rule this household. I am the fierce huntress of things that get in... I am the discipline-r

 of badly behaved Boogie Mats and other assorted toys... And I bring sweetness and light, with just a tiny bit of spice, to our home.

Go, me.

Mancat Monday - 2 vs 2

It's Monday  - time for ME!

So, 2 vs. 2.

2 dislikes I have:

1). Tin foil! Horrible thing, that noise it makes.
Why hoomins would ever use such a thing is beyond me. 

2). Mom's Ace bandage. Last summer she tore her calf muscle, and ever since she uses this to wrap up her leg when she exercises. (She wants you to know that this is amazingly useful, if you ever have need of one, it is truly extremely helpful). But when she puts it on or takes it off, it's very upsetting to me. I refuse to hang around for this. It's just seriously freaky to me.

Now for the 2 loves I have:

1). My nip hamster, bought many years ago. We got it from Cat Faeries online shop. We're soul mates, that hamster and I. I like other toys just fine, but hamster and I are FOREVER.

2). My mom's hair. When I was a tiny, tiny tot I would sleep in her hair, curled up by her neck. Now I'm way too big for that but my head fits there just fine. We sit at the dining room table for snorgle time, and I demand mom take her hair out of the ponytail (I paw at her head. Every time.) so I can get my hair fix. This makes me very, very happy. Even more so than my hamster-time.

So there you are, some facts about ME, Toby.

All Hail the Great Friday!

Mom does luff her Fridays.

I look so cute and sweet here, but what you don't see is that I'm disciplining our Boogie Mat. Toby lets it get away with such awful behavior, but I'm very firm about these things. 

Has anyone else seen the movie "The Great and Powerful Oz"? We helped mom watch it recently. The monkey, and especially China Girl, were our favs. 

This is us last night, patiently waiting for Mom to come to bed. I swear, sometimes she's really slow about doing what we want her to. 

Sorta Wordless Wednesday

Hmm... yep, let's go with this one, Mom, it shows off my best side.

Mom has a story:

On the way home through my neighborhood on Tuesday night, 

I saw something I'd never seen before: a cat caught a squirrel! 

Didn't get to keep him, but he definitely caught that tree rat.

I saw the cat, a beautiful white and gray tabby (and kind of tubby, too) stalking something.
When he pounced, I realized there was a squirrel by the tree, apparently ignoring this not
particularly stealthy cat just feet away. The cat grabbed his sides with both paws,
but that cheeky fellow just scampered up the tree. He probably suffered a few scratches,
but I don't believe there was any real harm done.

Happy Caturday

So this is how we have decided to spend our Caturday. 

We had so much fun the other day, we're still hungover and tired! 

All great pawrties must be paid for.

We've Arrived!

Mom is so excited - we just got asked to do a review for KitNipBox, a monthly cat subscription box! Our first ever. The box was delivered today. All nicely packed inside.

Now on to the action shots!

We both dove right in, it all smelled so good. I, Toby, went straight for that thingie I'm holding onto for dear life. Mom says I just about licked it into non-existence. But, we all know hoomins just don't appreciate a fine nip experience.

Leia chose the yellow guy. After we calmed down a bit,

Mom gave us a taste of the dried whitefish treat. Pretty darn good!

Although, we both had some trouble figuring out what to do with it.

Fair warning, it's got a strong smell to it.

So this is the rest of the box, in addition to the two toys we had first. 

All the toys are transportation-themed. And there is a card that says they donate a portion of each box to kittehs in need. Who can't luff that?

We give it all two paws up!

Now for the obligatory stuff:
