Oh, My Aching Head

I admit, I'm not really in a sociable mood right now.
Why? I just got home from the Stabby Place and....

1. They stole my furs.
2. They stole my blood.
3. They stole my TEETH. 4 of them! I want them back.

Mom says they had to go, but they were MY teeth. I don't get a meow in this??

I suppose it's some small comfort that they at least gave me this proper mancatly bandage.

I guess I'm ok, but I feel awfully weird, can't really walk properly - Mom says that's the pain meds, they make me a bit drunk - and I can't meow properly yet. Apparently I got some tube shoved down my throat that makes me sound not like myself right now.

I'm going back to sleep. Happy Caturday - and furriends, trust me when I say, keep a CLOSE eye on your pawrents.

We're progressing as I was told to expect.
I called back about the bloodwork and was told that everything was actually good,
including his kidneys. He's even trying to be affectionate, just not really coordinated at it right now. Oh, and he's recovered enough already to want to take over Leia's food plate too.

  1. I'm glad you had a good blood report, Toby! Don't worry if you are a bit loopy. Just sleep it off.

P.S. The last couple of times Binga came home from dentals, all she wanted to do was steal food too!

  2. OMC!

Well, wantin to steal food are a good sign.

  3. Awww, I'm sorry to hear about your teeth and feeling a little loopy. At least it does sound like you're getting your appetite back. Happy recovering to you.

  4. Geeeee wiz Toby please tell me the tooth fairy came to visit. You deserve at least 87 soft treats for each lost toofer!!
Mom sympathizes as she has had her share of oral surgery and a few missing toofers too they BUT they gave her a bridge so she can still eat pretty good BUT she still can't MEOW!!!
Hugs and kitty kisses to you and your loving Mom and Leia
    whom I hope is behaving
    Madi and Cecilia

  5. (Ha ha ha, Madi!) Toby, we are thrilled with the good news and know you'll be A-OK in no time. Rest well, friend!

  6. I am glad your blood work is good, Toby. Don't worry about having your teeth stolen. You will manage fine without them, and once you are all healed you will feel so much better.

  7. Aw, Toby. We are very happy to hear you're eating and your blood work looked good!

Milk this for all you're worth!

  8. I am glad your blood work was good. I hope you feel better soon. I hope you don't have to keep the bandage on, we usually can take them off after an hour home. XO

  9. Aw, Toby. We’re purring that you recover quickly and are back to your old self soon...minus 4 teeth. Don’t worry, you won’t even miss them.

  10. Hi Toby! I am so glad that you are feeling better. And I will purray that you feel better soon and recover from having your teeth removed. Just think, soon it won't hurt and won't hurt ever again!
You will get better every day!

  11. Toby, we are so glad that your blood work report came back good. That's really awesome news. That bandage is great. Very, very mancatly for sure!

We know you will be so much more comfortable without those teeth. Gracie hardly has any teeth, and she does just fine.

Love, purrs and prayers. Feel better soon, okay?

  12. I’m so glad the dental is over and you are home, Toby! And great news about blood work. I hope you’ll make full recovery soon. Sending hugs to you, sweetheart xo

  13. That sounds GREAT!!! Oh, and seriously, Toby -- you look like a real tiger now!!! Very manly, very tough!
    Yours sincerely,
    Margaret Thatcher

  14. We send you healing purrs and wish you a full recovery Purrs

  15. We're so glad you are feeling better!
    Have a wonderful weekend...

    Noodle and crew

  16. Toby, precious boy. LOTS of Katie loves right there at you. I will send loves every hour till you are better.

  17. it stinks your teefs are gone, but you are going to feel so much better without them right quick

  18. Trying to take over Leia's food plate is the best sign that things are going to be okay. It's so hard for us to watch them struggling and unable to understand why they feel so crappy - but those little bursts of personality through the fog are like coming home :)
