Happy Caturday, furriends!
The other day I was making biscuits with mom. I'm very good at it, you know.
So there I was, kneading away on the back of the couch, when she says.. she says...
"Can you make me some cookies, too?"
Seriously?! Do you think this is a bakery? I do strictly biscuits, lady.
Hmpf.
In Toby news...
Mom was up at 5 am today putting fresh sheets and pillowcases on the bed.
And not because Toby yakked, either. And there was a rumor that she applied a
warm washcloth to someone's bum, but that's unconfirmed.
He's not saying.
We will leave you with this scene from early morning here, on a local road.
Oh no Toby not the soft warm cloth.....hugs and purrs to you and feel better wishes to your bum.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very pretty picture of the fog but we here in the South know that is a sure sign of the 3H's.
Hugs madi your bfff
That's a beautiful scene - but we're concerned about Toby! We hope he's OK!
ReplyDeleteOur mom got to take care of our neighbors' kitties a long time ago, and when she'd go over there, Luke would always make biscuits on her foot. She thought it was really cool.
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
He's fine, thanks. Just has issues sometimes with his litterbox activities.
DeleteYeah, Leia, the mom says I make bread, not biscuits. I don’t know what she’s talking about. ~Wally
ReplyDeleteMomma's are so demanding!
ReplyDeleteLOL Leia, maybe your mom was hungry :-) Niko makes biscuits, too. I know she loves your fresh made biscuits!
ReplyDeleteThat’s a beautiful scenery with lovely morning light :-)
Hmm, putting all the clues together regarding Toby... does not sound pleasant.
ReplyDeleteI like making biscuits, usually on mom's belly right before curling up on it. Sometimes I'll make biscuits for a few minutes on her belly and then turn and get down. She and dad just laugh and laugh. My word they are easily entertained, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteWhy can't she just be happy with your excellent biscuits, Leia?
ReplyDeleteAs for Toby, we hope he is okay. We suppose a warm washcloth is better than a cold one, in any case.
Hugs to you all.
Leia...you aren't a bakery. Biscuits and be grateful for them. Always freshly made. Um...warm washcloth on someone's bum? Hm. Mom had to do something similar to a Tuxie who lives here...ahem...maybe 5 months ago after that Tuxie got into bed after a trip to her potty. It wasn't me! It must have been Notme. They come here often.
ReplyDeleteNotMe is just mean. Always causing trouble.
DeleteI hope Toby is okay.
ReplyDeleteEric was an expert biscuit maker like you. Flynn never really got the hang of it.
We've missed seeing your fun posts. Leia, like you, I love to make biscuits. Toby, that scenario with your bum sounds familiar unfortunately.
ReplyDelete~Annie
Poor Toby. I bet you would make good cookies too Leia. Brody sends you kisses. XO
ReplyDeleteSounds like Mom was on a cleaning binge...
ReplyDeleteToby should just use the carpet, like Caroline sometimes does!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have any, just tile and laminate.
DeleteWhat? You'll have to move then!
DeletePoor Chucky got quite used to having a washcloth on his bum! Nothing disrupts a human's sleep like a poop in bed!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful photo! Uh oh, the washcloth on the butt. Yep, someone here knows too much about that!
ReplyDeletehappee bee lated caturday guyz ~~~~~ we hope SUN day waz ...grate :) ☺☺♥♥ N two dayz even better ~~~~~~ ☺☺♥♥
ReplyDeleteA nice warm cloth on the bum doesn't sound so bad! Frodo knows what you mean!!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, streaks on the bed sheets would cause ours to get changed too..And you know what...I don't make biscuits! Nope...not once snce I came to live with my Mom!
ReplyDeletePurrs
